Top five strengths:
1. I have my own illustration style (animals are the main focus).
2. I have an imaginative and whimsical perspective and vision towards things.
3. I'm kind of naive. I feel that being naive allows me to be open to different approaches to problems.
4. I'm optimistic!
5. I can screenprint.
Top five weaknesses:
1. My illustration is heavily focused on animals.
2. Structure. I'm pretty care-free and I like happy accidents. I try to build structure after I've made a mess.
3. I have a hard time combining words and images to make powerful statements. I wish I were more clever.
4. I can't work with photography or Photoshop unless it involves using the brush tool to illustrate something by hand. I also work so much with Illustrator that Photoshop is kind of annoying to use now.
5. I'm quiet and hate group assignments! I can get along with people and work with others, but I like having total creative control.
Design philosophy:
Design and the world of design is like the world of different flavours of ice cream. There are a variety of flavours and different people like different flavours. Don't try and be a vanilla when you're really a Double Chocolate Dinosaur of Delicious Doom.
